Jericho may be the oldest town on earth. From the book of Joshua, we know the walls of the city were toppled from the Israelites’ great shout and trumpet blasts. But, the story of Jericho doesn’t end in the Old Testament. It was where Jesus healed Bartimaeus, the blind beggar, and dined with Zacchaeus, the tax collector.
