We have done numerous tours to the Holy Land, but the most rewarding and fulfilling one of all was our recent one with Faith Journeys. In addition to all the great touring we enjoyed, our group spent time putting their faith into action by volunteering. Faith Journeys understands the importance of serving and giving back, and has the contacts to facilitate meaningful “Global Voluntourism.” They arranged for us to dialogue and ministered to the patients at the Bethlehem Arab Disability Rehabilitation Hospital, a highlight of our trip. We also got to play our “Ukuleles for Peace” at several venues. Our group thoroughly enjoyed being part of Faith Journeys’ “SEE, STUDY and SERVE” program. I highly recommend Faith Journeys

Our church group has toured with Paul Lam and his company since 1985 and has never been disappointed. It has always been a first-class travel experience as all our fellow travelers will agree. Our guides and drivers have always been the most knowledgeable, attentive and very friendly. All accommodations and meals were excellent. Pilgrimage is the journey from everyday life to a sacred place where we encounter the Divine. This journey links sacred place and time and allows the pilgrim to transport the sacredness of a place to his or her home. It was a great joy to work with the Faith Journeys team. Our parishioners were inspired, educated and handled with great care every step of the way. We were attended by excellent English-speaking guides, had comfortable, spacious buses, and enjoyed wonderful food and accommodations. We are planning another pilgrimage with Faith Journeys to the Convent of Sr. Faustina, Fatima and Lourdes and more next year. I do recommend Faith Journeys!

Our Official Pilgrimage provider, Faith Journeys, has been in close collaboration with the International Eucharistic Congress (IEC) staff in Dublin. Those who have the blessing of going to the IEC will not only find the pilgrimage a great blessing for themselves, but upon their return can help us all to deepen our Catholic identity, nurture lifelong faith formation, and encourage all of us to be better stewards of God’s gifts.

The Eucharist: Communion with Christ and with one another. In the Spirit of that communion, we look forward to celebrating a truly international Congress: a celebration of faith by all nations. We are particularly conscious of the bond of Communion that exists between Catholics in Ireland and the Catholic Church in the United States. Our team here in Dublin is delighted to work with and support Faith Journeys in promoting the Congress and we look forward to welcoming your pilgrims to our event in June 2012.
