Day 1 | Depart USA

Depart via scheduled air service to Paris.

Paris

Day 2 | Paris

Arrive in Paris. Meet your Faith Journeys Tour Manager who will assist the group to awaiting chartered motorcoach for a panoramic tour of Paris to see the Eiffel Tower, L’Arc de Triomphe, and Champs-Élysées. We will also see the Basilica of the Sacred Heart (Sacré-Coeur). Late afternoon check-in at the hotel. Evening Welcome Dinner and overnight.

Day 3 | Paris

Breakfast at the hotel. Attend Mass at the Chapel of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, site of three apparitions of the Virgin Mary in 1830. Visit the Tomb of St. Vincent de Paul in the Chapel of the Vincentians. Lunch, on own. Continue our tour with a view of Notre Dame and continue to Sainte-Chapelle, a 13th-century Gothic chapel in the heart of Paris where we might also celebrate Mass. Enjoy time at leisure for additional sightseeing, reflection, or other activities. Evening dinner and overnight.

Lisieux

Beauvais Cathedral in France

Day 4 | Paris, Beauvais, Amiens & Lisieux

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning we will visit the incomplete Cathedral of St. Peter of Beauvais. It is in some respects, the most daring achievement in Gothic architecture. Continue to Amiens Cathedral in the heart of Picardy. Lunch, on own. Enjoy time at leisure for additional sightseeing, reflection, or other activities. Travel to Lisieux for evening dinner and overnight.

Chartres

Day 5 | Lisieux & Chartres

Breakfast at the hotel. C Mass at the Tomb of St. Therese in the Chapel of the Carmelite Monastery. Also, visit the Martin family house where Saint Therese lived until she entered the Carmel Convent and the great Basilica of Saint Therese. Lunch, on own
Continue to Chartres to visit its magnificent Cathedral. Chartres Cathedral has been a major pilgrimage destination since the early Middle Ages and has a spirit of holiness that impresses even the most resolute of nonbelievers. Evening dinner and overnight.

Paray-le-Monial

Bourges Cathedral in France

Day 6 | Bourges & Paray-le-Monial

Breakfast at the hotel. On our way to Paray-le-Monial, stop in Bourges to visit its 13th century cathedral dedicated to St. Stephen. The site occupied by the present cathedral has been the site of the city’s main church at least since Carolingian times. Lunch, on own. Continue to Paray-le-Monial, home to St. Margaret Mary and the Shrine of the Sacred Heart. Visit the Church of St. Claude de Colombiére and the Chapel of the Visitation where St. Margaret Mary received her visions. Evening dinner and overnight.

Annecy

Day 7 | Cluny & Ars-sur-Formans

Breakfast at the hotel. Travel to Cluny to visit the Benedictine monastery. Tour the remains of the great abbey and continue to the town of Ars, home of St. John Vianney, patron saint of parish priests. Visit the basilica that houses St. John Vianney’s incorrupt body, and then continue to the Chapel of Our Lady of Ars, one of the favorite devotions of St. John. Lunch, on own. Continue to Annecy through the beautiful countryside and wine country of Burgundy to the shores of Lake Annecy. Evening dinner and overnight.

Day 8 | St. Francis de Sales

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning we visit Annecy Castle, residence of the Counts of Geneva. Tour the Monastery of the Visitation and Basilica. It was here that St. Francis de Sales was buried in 1623. Many miracles have been reported at his shrine. Lunch, on own. Continue to the village of Thorens to celebrate Mass at the De Sales Chapel. Visit Chateaux Thorens, the ancient family residence of the De Sales family. Evening dinner and overnight.

Day 9 | The French & Swiss Alps

Breakfast at the hotel. A 90-minute drive by motor coach through the picturesque Arve Valley takes you from Annecy to Chamonix, one of the most famous mountain villages at the foot of the remarkable and majestic Mont Blanc.. Enjoy time at leisure for additional sightseeing, reflection, or other activities. Lunch, on own. Travel to the Italian ski village of Courmayeur to enjoy amazing vistas surrounding the mountains before returning to Annecy. Farewell dinner and overnight. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10 | Depart for Home

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Geneva Airport for return flight.
