Day 1 | Depart USA
Depart via scheduled air service to Lisbon.
Fatima
Day 2 | Lisbon, Santarem & Fatima
Arrive in Lisbon. Meet your Faith Journeys Tour Manager who will assist the group to awaiting chartered motorcoach to Santarem. Santarem is the site of many notable churches including the Church of the Holy Miracle which contains a 13th century Eucharistic miracle on continuous display since 1269. Continue to Fatima. Late afternoon check-in at the hotel. Evening Welcome Dinner and overnight.
Day 3 | Fatima
Breakfast at the hotel. Begin the day by celebrating Mass, after which we’ll visit the Tombs of Francisco and Jacinta as well as other sites related to the appearances of Mary. Lunch, on own
We will take time for our own devotions and prayers at the Hungarian Stations of the Cross consisting of fourteen small chapels along walkways leading to a marble monument of Christ on the cross. Evening dinner and overnight.
Santiago
Day 4 | Braga & Santiago
Breakfast at the hotel. Continue north through Portugal to visit Braga, an ancient city that played an important role in the Christianization of the Iberian Peninsula. We will visit Bom Jesus do Monte, a sanctuary and important site of pilgrimage. Lunch, on own. Visit the Braga Cathedral, one of the most important buildings in all of Portugal. Continue to Santiago for evening dinner and overnight.
Day 5 | Santiago di Compostela
Breakfast at the hotel. Today we join the 1000-year old pilgrimage down the narrow streets of the city to the shrine of St. James in the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela. The Cathedral, borders the main plaza of the old and well-preserved city. Lunch, on own. Explore sites near the cathedral including the Praza do Obradoiro, the Colexio de San Xerome, and the Paxo de Raxoi. Evening dinner and overnight.
Burgos
Day 6 | Burgos
Breakfast at the hotel. Travel to northern Spain, home of the magnificent Gothic Cathedral at Burgos, whose construction spanned from the 13th century to the 15th century. Lunch, on own. Continue to Burgos for evening dinner and overnight.
Lourdes
Day 7 | Burgos & Lourdes
Breakfast at the hotel. Celebrate Mass at the magnificent Burgos Cathedral. We will also see another of the most celebrated cathedrals in Europe, the Santa Maria Cathedral. It houses many interesting treasures, like rich tapestries and an old chest linked to the legend of El Cid. Lunch, on own. Continue to Lourdes, the birthplace of St. Bernadette, where Our Lady appeared in 1858. Evening dinner and overnight.
Day 8 | Lourdes
Breakfast at the hotel. Celebrate Mass after which we will walk in the footsteps of St. Bernadette as we visit the Grotto of Massabielle, the site of Bernadette’s visions of the Virgin Mary. Lunch, on own. Continue to the home in which St. Bernadette and her family lived at the time the girl saw visions of the Virgin Mary, the parish church, and other holy shrines and sites related to these miraculous visions. We are welcome to participate in the Procession of the Blessed Sacrament and the Blessing of the Sick (depending on seasonal schedules) in the late afternoon. Evening dinner. Return to the Sanctuary for the Rosary and Torchlight Procession (beginning at about 8:30pm depending on seasonal schedules). Overnight at hotel.
Day 9 | Lourdes
Breakfast at the hotel. Celebrate Mass at the Sanctuary
Enjoy time at leisure for additional sightseeing, reflection, or other activities. Lunch, on own. Farewell Dinner and candlelight procession. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10 | Depart for Home
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Toulouse for return flight.
