Since yesterday was St. Andrew’s Day, we’re going to start in Scotland. The town of St. Andrews is known for being the birthplace of golf, but within a short walk from the Old Course, you will find the beautiful ruins of a great Cathedral, built in 1160. It was one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Medieval Europe.
