Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Departure from the USA and Arrival in Mexico City Depart the USA and meet your Faith Journeys’ Pilgrimage Manager upon arrival in Mexico City, who will assist you to the awaiting chartered motorcoach for a transfer to the hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight at our hotel in Mexico City.

Day 2: Mexico City After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Teotihuacan to see the ancient Pyramids of the Sun and Moon and view from inside the extraordinary Temple of Quetzalcoatl. Time for Buffet lunch included. Afterward, visit Tulpetlac church. Then, continue to transfer to the Basilica of Guadalupe for reflection and Mass. Return to Mexico City for dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Mexico City After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy sightseeing of the city, including the Zocalo, the Metropolitan Cathedral, National Palace, Templo Mayor (panoramic view), Ministry of Education, Palacio de Bellas Artes, Alameda Park, and Santo Domingo Church. Return to the hotel for dinner. In the evening, transfer to Ballet Folklorico of Amalia Hernandez (This show could change location to another historical encloser, and only performers on Wednesday and on Sunday).

Day 4: Mexico City After breakfast at hotel, visit to the Anthropology Museum, and the southern neighborhood of Coyoacan, including visit to the Frida Kahlo Museum, also known as “La Casa Azul.” Time in the afternoon will be provided for prayer and reflection. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Guanajuato After breakfast at hotel, transfer to Guanajauato. Upon arrival, enjoy sightseeing including the Mina de la Valeciana and the Cathedral. Check-in to the hotel for dinner and overnight. Optional to walk/follow the “Estudiantina” (cost additional)

Day 6: San Miguel de Allende After breakfast at hotel, transfer to San Miguel de Allende. Upon arrival, celebrate Mass at the Cathedral and enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city, including a visit to the Cultural Center of Ignacio Ramirez (“El Nigromante”). Enjoy the afternoon at leisure for reflection time. Return to the hotel in Guanajuato for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Guanajuato – Leon  After breakfast at the hotel, time and flight hours permitting, depart for the Guadalajara International Airport for the return flight to USA.

Day 8: Departure After breakfast at the hotel, time and flight hours permitting, depart for the Guadalajara International Airport for the return flight to USA.
