Dear Friends,

What an awesome opportunity for us to go on this trip to Luther’s Germany.
I grew up in Germany and attended school there. It was here that my appreciation
and interest in Martin Luther’s life was awakened and fostered. Later on at seminary
I did an extensive study on his life and grew to honor and respect this great man of
God.

I would like to extend a personal invitation to you to join us the North Port Community
U.C.C. on this amazing journey of faith. We will actually be there in Wittenberg on the
500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation. This is a once in lifetime event we can
actually be part of. We will celebrate our protestant heritage with other Christians from
around the world. Let’s meet together next year in Wittenberg.

We have done numerous tours to the Holy Land, but the most rewarding and fulfilling one of all was our recent one with Faith Journeys. In addition to all the great touring we enjoyed, our group spent time putting their faith into action by volunteering. Faith Journeys understands the importance of serving and giving back, and has the contacts to facilitate meaningful "Global Voluntourism." They arranged for us to dialogue and ministered to the patients at the Bethlehem Arab Disability Rehabilitation Hospital, a highlight of our trip. We also got to play our "Ukuleles for Peace" at several venues. Our group thoroughly enjoyed being part of Faith Journeys' "SEE, STUDY and SERVE" program. I highly recommend Faith Journeys
