Dear Friends and Colleagues:

We are so excited and humbled to be able to lead this Advent pilgrimage to the Holy Land. We hope you can join us for this life-changing adventure as we walk in the footsteps of Jesus.

Faith Journeys, our tour operators, have put together an incredible trip for us all to enjoy. They handle all the logistics so we can concentrate on the experience. We have been to the Holy Land in the past, and we can’t wait to go back. We assure you, once you have visited the holy sites mentioned in the Bible, you will never read Scripture the same way again. When we hear the Word proclaimed, even after two decades, we can imagine just where the scenes took place because of our pilgrimage to the Holy Land.

As pastoral leaders we appreciate the value of being on pilgrimage with a community of disciples. The shared reflections and prayer are richer, deeper, and diverse. As Paul wrote:
“Your faith will help me, and my faith will help you." (Romans 1:12}

If going to the Holy Land was ever on your “bucket list” then JOIN US on this Advent pilgrimage. As a Knight and Lady of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, we look forward to sharing the “5th Gospel” with you!

May grace and blessings be always on your path,
Bob and Maggie McCarty

Pilgrimage is the journey from everyday life to a sacred place where we encounter the Divine. This journey links sacred place and time and allows the pilgrim to transport the sacredness of a place to his or her home. It was a great joy to work with the Faith Journeys team. Our parishioners were inspired, educated and handled with great care every step of the way. We were attended by excellent English-speaking guides, had comfortable, spacious buses, and enjoyed wonderful food and accommodations. We are planning another pilgrimage with Faith Journeys to the Convent of Sr. Faustina, Fatima and Lourdes and more next year. I do recommend Faith Journeys!
