“To go on pilgrimage is not simply to visit a place to admire its treasures of nature, art or history.

“To go on pilgrimage really means to step out of ourselves in order to encounter God where he has revealed himself, where his grace has shone with particular splendour and produced rich fruits of conversion and holiness among those who believe.

“Above all, Christians go on pilgrimage to the Holy Land, to the places associated with the Lord’s passion, death and resurrection.”
— Benedict XVI (Nov. 6, 2010)

The Second Vatican Council says that each Christian is a “pilgrim, in a strange land, tracing … the paths Jesus trod.” Pilgrims are sojourners — travelers on a quest of faith. Each of us is invited to a path of renewal and redemption, following after Jesus Christ. This is the path of the pilgrim.

Faith Journeys invites you to join one of our available pilgrimages to experience your own inspirational quest of faith.

A pilgrimage to the Holy Land is a rare and privileged event. Every person of faith should make such a trip a priority in one's life. However, great care is needed to make sure the experience reflects the intent of the traveler. Without careful planning, advanced preparation and attention to details while in the Holy Land, the pilgrimage can fall short of expectations. Faith Journey's is a trusted, experienced partner who can make sure your journey is a critical step towards a deeper communion with Our Savior and his people.
